HRT

Many women experience menopausal symptoms that effects their quality of life. HRT is the most effective treatment for these symptoms. When HRT is not an option evidence based alternatives to HRT are available. So called natural remedies are often not tested and therefore not safe. HRT can be taken in tablet, patch or gel form. It is generally a mix of oestrogen and progestagen but can sometimes be oestrogen alone depending on whether or not you have had a hysterectomy in the past.
