Under 6 GP Care

Elmwood Medical Practice is participating in the free GP Scheme for children under 6 years of age. It will take some time before this Scheme is fully up and running. We will be writing individually to our patients to inform them of the registration process. Until the registration process for your child is complete and you have received a GP under 6 Free Visit Card all consultations at Elmwood will still incur a consultation fee. The HSE have said it will take approximately two weeks for children to be fully registered but as this is a new Scheme we are not certain if this is accurate or not and unfortunately we have no control over the swiftness of the registration process
