Book an AppointmentElmwood Medical Practice is delighted to inform you that from August 2019 it is now possible to book a routine 15 minute consultation with any of our Doctors through the new Online Appointment System. When you visit our website at m.elmwood.ie you will notice the icon “Book an Appointment" displayed on our home page of our website. This will provide you with easier access to book your appointment with your doctors at a time that suits you.
When you click on this icon all of the Doctors names will be shown on the screen. Click on your preferred doctor, click Book an Appointment and click Consultation. Simply select the day and time that is convenient for you and click next.
For your first time using this system you will need to set up an account. Once you have registered you are then asked to confirm your appointment.
Under Additional Comments please type reason for visit ie – general consultation, Flu vac, blood test etc. Enter your credit card details and click finish. You will then receive a confirmation email.
A booking fee is charged for all Private, GMS & Medical Card patients which is redeemable against your consultation charge that exceeds €20.00 (booking fee is not redeemable against courier fee for bloods/samples sent to CUH). This is a booking fee which is non refundable unless cancellation occurs at least 48 hours prior to appointment time.
Please note - if you need to book a Smear, Mirena Coil, Implanon, Minor procedure, 2 week or 6 week baby check, Joint Injection, an extended consultation time or an appointment with our nurse - you will need to continue to book your appointment through the traditional ways.
